Largest dessert festival in America coming to Tampa this November

Loosen those belts, Tampa, things are going to get seriously sweet this November. Dessert Wars, billed as America’s largest dessert festival, will take place at The Florida State Fairgrounds on November 20.

Tickets for the event officially go on sale on September 8. 

“Tampa is ready for the Sweetest Day Ever! Bigger and Sweeter than ever before, get ready to sample over 50+ dessert vendors all under one roof on November 20 at the Florida State Fairgrounds inside Entertainment Hall ,” wrote organizers in an announcement on Instagram.

Tons of vendors will be baking fluffy and flaky, sweet and dense, sugary and savory treats, all in the name of being crowned Dessert Champion. 

Be warned, y’all, this event sells out every year. You’ll want to get your tickets a bit in advance. Don’t worry, you don’t have to pay for each and every dessert. Your ticket comes with sample tickets you can use at participating vendors. 

Tickets range from $35-$75 and can be purchased on the Dessert Wars’ event page beginning September 8.

The dessert throw down will be held at The Florida State Fairgrounds, which is located at 4800 US-301.
