Neapolitan pizza and pastaria, Oronzo, will join Midtown Tampa
Most food lover’s in the Tampa Bay region have experienced the glory of a meal at Bavaro’s. This Tampa gem opened in March of 2009. At the time, it was one of the city’s first traditional Neapolitan Pizzeria. Just over 10 years later Dan Bavaro opened his newest concept Oronzo, and it will expand into the surging Midtown Tampa neighborhood.
Since its inception at 18027 Highwoods Preserve Pkwy, the fast casual pastaria has earned rave reviews from local diners.

Oronzo, which officially opened on June 17, is like the Chipotle of Italian food. The menu offers scratch recipes in a fast casual environment supported by state of the art technology. The team behind the restaurant brings with it 50+ years in the industry. The restaurant gets its name from Dan Bavaro’s grandfather.
Next stop for Oronzo: Midtown Tampa, according to a report by the Tampa Bay Business Journal. An opening timeline is still TBA as construction continues on the massive development.
Midtown Tampa is located on 22 acres at 3725 W Grace Street.
