Straz Center adds Alan Cumming, The Sleeping Beauty, Sex n’ the City to calendar
The Straz Center for the Performing Arts 2021-22 season is shaping up to be remarkable. A slew of new shows will transport Tampa attendees to broadway and beyond.
The Straz Center for the Performing Arts is thrilled to announce a number of performances that have been added to the 2021-2022 season. These shows are in addition to the previously announced seasons of Bank of America Broadway at The Straz, Opera Tampa, National Geographic Live, Club Jaeb, Jobsite Theater, Arts Legacy REMIX and a host of music, theater and comedy performances.

- ‘Twas a Girls Night Before Christmas: The Musical (Dec. 10-12, 2021)
- Next Generation Ballet’s Nutcracker (Dec. 17-19, 2021)
- Million Dollar Quartet Christmas (Dec. 22, 2021)
- Tango Fire (Jan. 28, 2022)
- Crowns (Feb. 17–March 6, 2022)
- Kaki King: Modern Yesterdays (Feb. 25, 2022)

- Complexions Contemporary Ballet (March 31, 2022)
- Alan Cumming (April 3, 2022)
- Cirque Eloize: Hotel (April 12, 2022)
- Nate Bargatze (April 24, 2022)
- Next Generation Ballet’s The Sleeping Beauty (May 14-15, 2022)

The Straz Center continues to activate the Tampa arts community with versatile performances. On the weekends, those traversing the Tampa Riverwalk can hear local musicians performing live outside the celebrate venue.
Comedian, author, and host of Patriot Act, Hassan Minajh is set to perform at The Straz on September 18.
Tom Segura is set to bring his comedy tour to the Straz on October 2.
Other major arrivals include the Mystery Science Theater tour, and Dear Evan Hanson.
