Iconic Tampa eatery, The Bricks, is back opens

The Bricks in Ybor City has officially reopened after closing its doors in 2020. The Bricks began July 2010 in historic Ybor city. The eclectic venue was inspired by it’s predecessor Skatepark of Tampa, which was established in 1993. The concept closed its doors toward the end of 2020, but is now ready to welcome back residents. Movies on the Lawn returns to Tampa Heights

Armature Works in Tampa Heights will bring back its Movies on the Lawn series after the pandemic forced the event to go on hiatus. The very first film in the movies on the lawn series will be Jurassic Park. Cocktails to-go to become permanent fixture in Florida

Cocktails to-go will now be a permanent thing in Florida after the FL Legislature passed SB148. The bill now heads to Governor Ron DeSantis for his signature and would become effective July 1, 2021. The Square, a new food/entertainment hub, launches in Lykes Gaslight Park

The Square in Lykes Gaslight Park brings a food kiosk, and live music to the city’s downtown green space. The 1.9 mile Selmon Expressway Extension will open to traffic this month

The Selmon Extension will open for traffic on April 19; the extension is a 1.9 mile transportation option between Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties. The option costs $0.95 each way with SunPass. What is the Selmon Extension?
